Instructions: How To Quickly Clean Tool If Pressure Reading Doesn’t Hold on Dial

1. Disconnect hoseDust from tire valve stem may enter the gauge with normal use. This can cause the reading to not hold on the dial. This is common in analog gauges, and if this happens, you can easily fix the problem by following these steps. First, unthread the hose from the brass stem. |
2. Remove internal seal componentsCarefully remove black rubber disc, clear disc, & spring. |
3. Clean and clear dustGently clean & blow on internal parts to remove trapped dust. Rotate bleeder valve a few times. |
4. ReassembleReinsert components in this order:
Lastly, reconnect the hose to the brass stem. |
